The graphs shows the cable impedance of a cicable AC7 with different kind of connectors.

The AC7 is a flexible coaxial type cable with BNC connectors [red]. The cable impedance is reasonable flat and smooth.

The other curves show the impedance characteristics with different kind of connectors: cicable connector [blue], other brands black and green.

The cicable phono connector is the best in this comparison although it cannot beat the BNC– connector.

The difference between the cicable and the other phono connectors is more than 2Ohm or approx 4.0%
